JAMES CALADO

James has competed in a wide variety of motor sport categories, after the obligatory start in karting. He moved from karts to Formula Renault and in 2010, he came second in the British Formula 3 championship. His association with ARM really started en GP2 with the ART team in 2011 and 2012. In 2014, he was the third driver for the Force India Formula 1 team, but it’s in closed wheeled cars that the 28 year old has really made his mark. In 2017, the Englishman became an official Ferrari driver in endurance racing, clinching the WEC GT World Championship, which earned him the title of GTE driver n°1 by the prestigious magazine Autosport. James continued racing the 488 GTE car run by the famous AF Corse team in WEC and won all rounds of the 2018- 2019 Asian Le Mans Series, driving for CarGuy Racing. In what is a very busy schedule, Calado is also finding time to compete in the 2019 Weather Tech SportsCar Championship with the Risi Competizione team.
