Ralf Aron from Estonia is the latest driver to join our team. A near neighbour of Finland, a country that has produced several F1 drivers, Estonia does not have much of a motor sport history, but 20 year old Aron hopes to change all that. This year, Ralf is racing in the European Formula 3 Championship for the Prema Theodore Racing team. Born in Tallin, he began karting at the age of six, but continued his education while pursuing his dream of being a professional driver, studying International Management and Finance at Switzerland’s Franklin University. Aron won several Estonian and Baltic karting championships, before making the move to single-seaters in 2014, when he was runner-up in the Formula Renault NEC championship. The following year marked the start of a long association with the Prema team as Aron was crowned Italian F4 champion taking seven race wins. Since then he has competed in the FIA European F3 series, with one among many highlights being a podium finish at the prestigious Macau GP. Who says racing drivers don’t have a sense of humour. His Twitter info says that he is “racing cars in hopes of one day being able to afford a mustache transplant!”
